Ballettique Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 4 September 2026

By booking or attending a Ballettique class, workshop or private lesson, you agree to these terms and conditions.

Bookings and attendance

Advance booking is recommended. Drop-in attendance is available only when space permits. Please arrive 5 to 10 minutes before class, ready to move. For safety reasons, anyone arriving more than 15 minutes after the scheduled start time cannot join the class.

Casual bookings, cancellations and rescheduling

A casual class booking may be rescheduled when notice is provided at least 24 hours before the class. Cancellations or rescheduling requests made within 24 hours of the class are non-refundable and non-transferable. If Ballettique cancels a class, you will be offered an appropriate replacement class, credit or refund.

Term passes and class passes

A term pass covers the classes identified when the pass is purchased and is non-refundable once the term has commenced. Term passes and class passes are personal, non-transferable and cannot be shared. A missed class is forfeited unless Ballettique agrees to provide a make-up class. Make-up classes are not guaranteed. If Ballettique cancels a class included in a term pass, a replacement class or credit will be provided. Term pass holders may be enrolled automatically into the relevant classes for that term.

Health, safety and participation

Ballet and movement classes involve physical activity. Participation is at your own risk. Tell the teacher before class about any injury, health condition, pregnancy, mobility requirement or other limitation that may affect safe participation. Follow the teacher's safety instructions and work within your own capacity. Wear clothing suitable for movement and ballet shoes or socks with grip.

Ballettique may collect health, injury and accessibility information that you choose to provide so teachers can support your safe participation. Update this information whenever your circumstances change.

Physical corrections

A teacher may use gentle physical contact for technical correction, alignment or injury prevention. Tell the teacher before class if you prefer not to receive physical corrections. Your preference will be respected.

First aid

If you become injured or unwell during a class, you consent to reasonable basic first aid being provided by the teacher or venue staff unless you advise otherwise before class. Emergency services may be contacted when reasonably necessary.

Teachers and class changes

Ballettique classes are taught by a team of qualified teachers. Teacher announcements may be made through the Ballettique Instagram account and WhatsApp community. Ballettique may substitute a teacher when necessary. A substitute teacher does not, by itself, entitle a student to a refund or credit.

Studio etiquette

Treat teachers, venue staff and fellow dancers respectfully. Keep phones silenced and away from the dance floor. Follow the rules of the venue. Ballettique classes are generally photography-free to support the comfort and privacy of participants.

Photography and video

Ballettique may occasionally photograph or film a class for promotional purposes. Students will be notified before filming or photography takes place. Tell the teacher if you do not want to appear. That choice will be respected.

Promotions

Promotional offers apply only during the stated promotional period and are subject to any conditions published with the offer. Promotions are non-refundable, non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or credit. Promotional pricing cannot be applied retrospectively to an existing booking.

Changes to these terms

Ballettique may update these terms when reasonably required. The terms presented or linked during booking apply to that booking.
